domo domo~ long time no write in blog ==; also don't know what to write. so.. anyway, my cousin George came back from Sheffield, UK on the 28th April. so here's a -hmm- kinda like a peek into what i did in the weekend when i'm with my family, cousins and of course Geo xD
Sat, 7 May
went to a seafood restaurant at Subang (or was it PJ? idk, really ==;) for dinner. and the place was.. WOAH. they displayed all kinds of sea creatures in the tanks (of course, it's for the workers to grab, clean and cook them for US to eat) there're clams, abalones, crabs (woo crabs! snow crabs, king crabs and spider crabs!!), lobsters, prawns, fish... there's a fish called Empurau (also 忘不了 or Forget-Me-Not) and it's SOOOOOOOOOOO expensive!! minimum RM600, and if the fish is more than 2kg, have to pay RM700 for EACH kg.. i took a picture in front of the Californian geoduck and some lobsters. can see on FB, my cousin Candy posted and tagged me
the food was ok ok, and the karaoke set was blaring with oldies (George called it "OLD PEOPLE'S MUSIC") and was i FULL!? they bought SO many lobsters, and also spider crabs.. =n=;; and i broke my record! i finally tried to eat escargots (sea snails) and i found that they're not that bad.. especially with a tinge of cheese =w=
back at my grampa's house, i continued my reading of "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer (yeah, i started reading it even though it's exam time). Geo saw it and he was like, hmm, that's quite a good book, i hear. xD
anyway, we're all so sick of food, we can't get into the kitchen (my aunts and uncles were having a durian party back there) we were really full, so we concentrated on the TV, since there's a funny movie on xD
Sun, 8 May
after brunch (of the same Rawang tilapia again), we (the whole family) went back to grampa's house to see Candy there. she's gonna take Geo out to Central Market. my mum asked me and my bro if we wanna follow as we never went there before, so of course, we agreed. so we went for a drive in the HOT sun to Central Market. we paid a visit to the Hindu temple. gosh, we have to take off our shoes PLUS that place is freakin' DUSTY and (as my bro pointed out) full of bird shit. and my bro was talking about the Gods' statues having big boobs, and the horses' statues having dicks ==; then we collected our shoes and went to the incense-smelling Chinese temple.
then we walked to Central Market. i saw an owl on a chain (a necklace) and i was interested with it, but it's RM35!? i only have RM11 in my pocket T^T but surprise! Geo bought that very same chain for himself, at RM25. we walked about and finally went out into the hot sun. since it was so hot, we bought coconut water. such a fag. my bro said it's 50% coconut, 25% water and 25% ice. which equals to: seriously tasteless water. we walked around the bazaar, then headed to Petaling Street (first time i go there also). so HOT~~ we walked about, lalalaa~ then bought air mata kucing. NICE! it's really good xD
later we drove to the new mall, Viva. actually just to meet my aunt who worked at Hai-O, it's Candy' mom. long time since we saw her. she gave Geo and me a hug each xD (lol, my bro was ignored) she told us to get into Viva to have a walk, so we did. Candy bought a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses (SHH!~~) and we went to Giant to buy some local candy for Geo. you know, Kopiko.. Lot 100.. some more lah! xd finally we went back to see aunt, she gave us free water from the shelves (shh, it's RM35 per bottle!) she gave Geo a last hug and we're on the go.
tired.. hot... but yeah, fun xD there's always a first for everything, and i do acknowledge that ;D
